1. Agreement
By creating an account on the Term Talk Hub (hub.termtalk.com.au), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not create an account.
The Term Talk Hub is operated by Nicola Ann Di Bernardo (ABN 96 977 004 755), trading as Term Talk.
2. The service
The Term Talk Hub is a subscription platform for Australian primary school teachers. It currently includes the following tools:
- ReportReady - an AI-powered report comment generator aligned to the NSW (NESA) syllabus.
- ParentBridge - resources and guides to support confident parent-teacher communication.
Additional tools may be added over time. Existing tools may be updated or refined to improve the service.
3. Accounts
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
Accounts are for individual use only and may not be shared with other teachers. Each subscription is licensed to a single named user. If we observe usage patterns consistent with credential sharing such as simultaneous or near-simultaneous access from multiple devices or locations, we may suspend the account pending verification and contact you at your registered email address.
Inactive accounts are not automatically deleted. If you wish to close your account and have your data removed, contact support@termtalk.com.au and we will process your request within 30 days.
4. Subscriptions and payments
The Term Talk Hub offers a free tier with limited access and a Premium subscription with full access to all tools.
These prices are not subject to GST as the business is not currently registered for GST.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. The Term Talk Hub does not store your credit card details. Stripe's own terms and privacy policy apply to payment processing. You can view these at stripe.com/au/privacy.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You can cancel at any time through the account management page, and your access will continue until the end of your current paid period.
5. Satisfaction guarantee
If ReportReady and ParentBridge don't save you time and bring you more confidence in your first month, email support@termtalk.com.au and we'll refund you. No questions asked.
This guarantee applies within the first 30 days of your initial Premium subscription. It does not apply to subsequent renewal periods.
6. How ReportReady works
ReportReady uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude API) to generate report comment suggestions based on the information you provide.
What we send to the AI
When you generate a comment, the following information is sent to Anthropic's API for processing:
- The student's first name and pronouns
- Year level, subject, strand, and achievement level
- Any custom instructions or tone preferences you provide
- NESA syllabus descriptors relevant to the selected strand
- Your voice profile preferences (if configured)
This information is sent solely for the purpose of generating the comment. Anthropic does not use this data to train their models.
What we store
We store the generation parameters (year level, subject, strand, achievement level, tone, custom instructions, and student pronouns) as part of your generation history. We do not store the generated comment text itself. The generated comments are displayed to you and then exist only in your browser session.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for or store student surnames, student IDs, dates of birth, or any other information that could identify a specific student beyond a first name.
You are responsible for reviewing and editing all generated comments before including them in any official report. ReportReady provides suggestions, not final report text.
7. Your data
Full details of how we collect, use, and protect your data are in our Privacy Policy.
8. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Term Talk Hub for its intended purpose: supporting your professional work as an educator. You agree not to:
- Share your account credentials with others. Each account is for one person only. Usage that suggests multiple people are accessing a single account may result in suspension.
- Use automated tools to generate comments in bulk
- Attempt to reverse-engineer the service or its prompts
- Use the service for any purpose other than generating educational content
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
9. Service availability
We aim to keep the Term Talk Hub available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service depends on third-party infrastructure (hosting, AI API, payment processing) that may occasionally experience downtime.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance.
10. Limitation of liability
The Term Talk Hub is provided "as is". While we work to ensure the quality and accuracy of generated content, we do not guarantee that generated comments will be suitable for any particular student or reporting context.
You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all content before using it in official school reports.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you have paid for your subscription in the 12 months prior to the claim.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email. Your continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
